I saw that the Fresno Chaffee Zoo was holding a photography contest so Ty, Michelle, Ian, Luke, Sean and I decided to go. It was really fun, and I think I was able to get some shots that I will enter.

Cake, hardest yet.
This is a cake that I was hired to make for one of my co-workers. It is, by far, the hardest cake I have had to do. She wanted a leopard print fondant cake and asked me if I could do it.
The first photo shows one of the steps for getting the spots. You have to roll out your base color some, then add small dots of black fondant, and then add smaller dots of brown fondant on top of the black. Then just roll it all out.
This is the finished product. I realize there are a few bumpy sections, but you really only get one shot at applying the fondant, and for the time and energy I've put into this cake I think it came out pretty well.
The little figurine was purchased by my co-worker.

Photo Tag
Since I have two places on my pc where I keep photos I decided to go ahead and post two pictures.
This first picture is from our 1st anniversary as a couple. We went to Universal Studios and this is during the tram ride through the back lot.
This second picture was taken right after I got my newest camera. We decided to take a walk around our neighborhood and test it out. I especially like the macro setting, as you can see.

Beach Day
We went to Morro Bay and Montana De Oro today with Jon, Jo, Teresa and Nathan. Here are some of the shots I took. I must say I am pretty impressed with some of them.
Teresa with Morro Rock in the background. Jon looking for interesting rocks and shells.
I particularly love this one, and not just because of the subject.
The lighting was so nice at this time, the colors are so pretty, it was hard to stop taking photos.
This is another one I really enjoyed, love the silhouette.
